The film is the directorial debut of "Tron: Legacy" two writers Brian Krugman and Lee Stearnsao.
Although Rory (Bradley Cooper) has been working hard to write, he has never been favored by the publishing house, and he has to rely on his father to help him from time to time. When he and his new wife, Dora (Zoe Saldana), went to Paris for their honeymoon, they bought a manuscript bag at a second-hand store. Rory stumbled across an old novel manuscript inside, and the content fascinated him. In the end, he took the novel as his own and published it, which finally made him famous and become a new cutting-edge in the literary world. And a mysterious old man (Jeremy Irons Jeremy Irons) suddenly appeared, told Rory that he was the author of the novel, and told him a true love story that happened in Paris in the novel.
In the face of all this, Rory felt a sense of guilt that he couldn't escape. Will he take success for granted, or is it a moral test?

  • Clay Hammond: At some point, you have to choose between life and fiction. The two are very close, but they never actually touch.
