hidden human desires

The filming is very good, I can see that the director is very skilled, and the story is very attractive, but after watching it, I suddenly feel that it is meaningless. At my current age, what is the use of exposing people's ugly nature for everyone to see Meaning too! ? When watching the film, it is very important to have resonance. The "adults" should like this film very much. In a few years, I may also resonate, going from prey to hunter!
It may be because of the different angles, or because of the focus of the director and the screenwriter. I can clearly see two points in this film: the yearning for youth and the over-repressed erotic feeling of human beings, whether of the same sex or the opposite sex, are just as strong! And running through it is Barbara's paranoid character. These three points add up to a bit of heavy taste for me, and it's a bit difficult to bear, so after watching the film, I don't have a hearty and refreshing feeling.
Also, there are some details I care about, Barbara hides her same-sex preferences so deeply that she deviates from the normal track, always targeting too young subjects (this is how I analyze it). As for it! ? What a matter! ? It may be her paranoid character that is killing her, because she believes from God that her desires are sinful, which can be seen from the statue of the Virgin on her dresser and her insistence that she is loyal to friendship. Check out the details. How tragic that she has been bearing the trumped-up accusations that someone has attached to her, ruining her life! In fact, to be honest, there is such a "talent" by my side, which is why I feel so deeply. In fact, from the perspective of the root, it may be the difference in values. Some people live for material things, and some people live for face. The common point is that they are not for themselves, and my goal is to live for myself. If I can do this in my life At one point, I can say that I have successfully lived my life, although not that I have lived a successful life, a life that others see as successful. My biggest fear is that one day when I'm too old to move, I'll regret why I didn't do something at the time, but there's nothing I can do again.

  • [Barbara's first impressions of Sheba as she watches her in the playground]

Barbara Covett: [voiceover] Hard to read the wispy novice. Is she a sphinx or simply stupid? Artfully dishevelled today. The tweedy tramp coat is an abhorrence. It seems to say "I'm just like you." But clearly she's not. A fey person, I suspect.

  • [Barbara's opinion of her male pupils]

Barbara Covett: [to Sheba] Little towers of testosterone. You'll soon get used to them.
