We all need a friend for loneliness

I was watching CSI yesterday, and it's been a while since I looked back at Pearl TV.
BABARA and SHEBA refer to colleagues in the school. BABARA likes to keep a diary every day. One day BABARA went to visit SHEBA and brought a bunch of flowers. SHEBA's daughter asked: Why are you dressed so formally, BABARA said that I will have a MEETING, IN TOWN later. Meet SHEBA's elderly husband, strange son, rebellious daughter, and SHEBA's own harbor. BABARA approached SHEBA step by step, and also mastered her secret, having an affair with yr10 student. Sheba didn't choose to accompany Babara's cat when she died, but chose to be with her family. Babara finally broke out and leaked the story of Sheba and the student in front of a male colleague who came to her house and wanted to pursue Sheba. Let this scandal erupt out of control.
In the end, Sheba found out that the original perpetrator was Babara, which was carefully recorded in her diary. The friendship Babara wanted crumbled in front of the diary.

At the end of the play, Babara met a woman "unexpectedly" on a bench overlooking London, and chatted again. . .

Notes on a Scandal quotes

  • [Barbara's first impressions of Sheba as she watches her in the playground]

Barbara Covett: [voiceover] Hard to read the wispy novice. Is she a sphinx or simply stupid? Artfully dishevelled today. The tweedy tramp coat is an abhorrence. It seems to say "I'm just like you." But clearly she's not. A fey person, I suspect.

  • [Barbara's opinion of her male pupils]

Barbara Covett: [to Sheba] Little towers of testosterone. You'll soon get used to them.
