How dark is the dark side of human nature?

Watched the film in an intermittent way, a revolutionary road-style theme. What a terrifying abyss is hidden under the calm and seemingly halo-surrounded reality. The great thing about this film is that it magnifies and embellishes some of the extremely embarrassing and ugly characteristics of human nature in the context of society, so that you can see its crazy and dirty nature. This kind of spirit is not easy.

First shock: Blanchett and the 15-year-old boy~~~, I really can't stand it.

Second shock: 15-year-olds just know how to play. Instead, it was Blanchett, a middle-aged woman. . .

Last shock, but the most: Judi Dench's old woman, lesbian, and old woman's gay~~~, Judy did a great job, especially the way she looked at Blanchett, she Her desires, her possessions, her selfishness, and the most real thoughts in her heart turned out to be so terrifying, yet true.

At first, I thought the plot was a bit brainless. Why is Blanchett so stupid and unguarded to talk to Judi Dench, is there such a stupid person? I always felt that if I really wanted to start with that boy, I would change jobs. However, I was wrong, failing to see the fragile nature of Blanchett.

People still have to be more ruthless. Don't easily trust the people around you and tell them all about yourself. When others want to approach you, they always have selfish purposes. This is the most basic law of human nature.

  • [Barbara's first impressions of Sheba as she watches her in the playground]

Barbara Covett: [voiceover] Hard to read the wispy novice. Is she a sphinx or simply stupid? Artfully dishevelled today. The tweedy tramp coat is an abhorrence. It seems to say "I'm just like you." But clearly she's not. A fey person, I suspect.

  • [Barbara's opinion of her male pupils]

Barbara Covett: [to Sheba] Little towers of testosterone. You'll soon get used to them.
