Once again revisiting a personal favorite acting film. Under the suspenseful soundtrack of Philip Glass, the whole work unfolds an acting show between two women, a sexy teacher and a young boy. If you want to briefly summarize this work, you can use three problematic emotions to describe it: the marriage problem of husband and wife, the relationship between teachers and students, and the ambiguous problem of women. Obviously, we have seen the first two in a lot of movies, but in "Notes on Scandal", they are only the trigger for the third problem. Three questions are set one by one.

Highlights:
1. The author of the book, Zoe Heller, said that the technique used to lay out the plot of the book is to lead the king into the urn first and then surprise;
2. Zoe Heller said that Blanchett was the heroine when he wrote the novel;
3 .This is a story about two extremely lonely women;
4. Judi Dench thinks the character she plays is someone who needs extreme attention;
5. Blanchett has read the novel and can feel the danger of Barbara;
6. In the 122nd scene, the characters played by the two faced each other. After the filming, Kate took out a bottle of champagne and drank it with Dench.
7. Director Richard El thought that Dench played this time. The role is not a positive one, and it will make
the audience refreshing; 8. Bill Nye saw Dench and Blanchett in the role, and thought about it for less than 30 seconds before deciding to shoot.

Notes on a Scandal quotes

  • Sheba Hart: So that's your vicious father?

    Steven Connolly: You wanted a sob story, I gave it to you. Made you feel like Bob Geldof.

    Sheba Hart: You lied to me!

    Steven Connolly: Ooooh, sorry, Miss! What, would you prefer it if I lived in a shithole?

    Sheba Hart: And your mother?

    Steven Connolly: I think she's gonna pull through. What do you want? What're you doin' here?

  • Steven Connolly: [throws cigarette] They're going to expel me now!

    Sheba Hart: No, they won't. I'll get the blame if she tells.

    Steven Connolly: As if she won't!

    Sheba Hart: She - likes me, she might not.

    Steven Connolly: She likes you, huh? Like that? You givin' her one and all?

    Sheba Hart: Why are you being so cruel? Why, Steven?

    Steven Connolly: I really like you. You're a nice person, and you've been cool, and it's been great, okay? But it's supposed to be fun. Now it's a serious thing. Whatever shit you're working out, you know, with your husband, your kid, you - I don't know. I can't help you.
