A few days ago, I saw a film review on the Internet that said this was scary, and because there were too few horror films shown in theaters, I had time for the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, so I invited my classmates to watch it together.
After reading it, it's actually not that scary, just a disaster movie plus a monster movie. The sound effects are well done, scary, but only a little scary, and it's about guessing when the crocodile will come out. Even though I covered my eyes, I still didn't find it very scary. Probably only because of the dim environment of the cinema and the loud sound to have such an effect, I wouldn't be too scared if this kind of film was allowed to watch at home.
Also complain about the IQ of the protagonist. Really, after finally escaping from the basement, shouldn't you run upstairs immediately? If you have to go to drive a boat, it’s fine to drive a boat, and you have to get on the boat with great difficulty, and you will still be stunned. I had to wait until the dam collapsed, and I was so happy that I went back to the original starting point and rushed back. And then another battle of wits and bravery for the sake of wits (presumably without the will to fight).
Overall, though, it's a pass film (it still made me cover my eyes, after all), just don't expect too much.
