Just finished watching it, and despite trying to get distracted throughout (yes, I'm timid), there are a few details that I find interesting, so to speak.
The first thing to say is that, despite its many flaws, this is still a mature genre film. The programming standards for production and plot do not need to be repeated. The main actors are of a sufficient level. The fear and intermittent relaxation in disasters, the expressions and body feedback when they are injured are all remarkable. This is actually very lacking in domestic films. Watching a movie ultimately depends on how the actors perform. If the performance is not convincing, everything else will be useless.
Spoiler alert below!
1. The female protagonist's physical fitness
The heroine's anti-biting physique is the biggest slot. This is undoubtedly added by the protagonist's halo, being bitten several times, being nailed to the wall repeatedly, being rolled over by death, and finally being able to cos the life-threatening island with a signal stick...
However, my father once mentioned that my daughter doesn't always win the game because her physical fitness is not good. It is a symbolic wash. Although it is definitely not washed, but there is an explanation at least that the film is still pursuing a reasonable form.
2. Dad's physical fitness
When the heroine was looking for her father, she saw family photos and two medicines, one for antidepressants and one for muscle growth. It can be seen that the old man has fitness habits, at least much stronger than the average greasy middle-aged, and obviously has the knowledge of wrestling with crocodiles. After all, Florida crocodiles are quite famous. As for slaughtering crocodiles with shovels, this is a matter of opinion.
3. Place names in the film
Birghtrock and Madison Road are two flashing signs that make it clear how small and out of place this place is.
4. The power of alligators
Crocodiles are the real protagonists. The movie basically detailed the crocodile's combat attributes, such as hearing, vision, speed, etc. It is worth mentioning that the bite force of the crocodile is not very strong, so that the heroine relies on the protagonist's halo for several waves.
5. Why do you need to call for help when you get a mobile phone?
This is of course a two hundred and fifty behavior. The question is, is the heroine someone who can do such two hundred and fifty things? After watching the whole film, you will find that the heroine, who is indecisive and reckless, is likely to commit second crimes intermittently. Then it's not surprising.
6. Why are you desperate to get on the boat?
Dad realized that the dam was about to collapse. Well, now there are two options:
First, the approximate speed of the crocodile is known, and the approximate speed of the heroine, and there is heavy rain as a cover, rushing to the boat is an escape opportunity, of course, you need to gamble, but there is a probability of winning;
Two, go back home and survive the flood to the end.
It looks like 2 is the safer option. However, at the beginning of the movie, through the radio and my sister, it has been confirmed that it is stupid to fight a hurricane at home, and there is a high probability that the house will be washed away after the dam collapses, and the probability of survival in the rapids full of crocodiles is estimated to be very low.
So choosing 2 is equal to waiting for death, and choosing 1 is equal to desperately trying to survive, so it seems that choosing 1 is not surprising.
When the father and daughter went upstairs, they also mentioned that they didn't expect the house to resist, indicating that they thought the house was likely to be washed away and dragged down to a dead end, so they took the risk of grabbing the boat.
