Many people commented on this film as one star and two stars, and they thought it was too buggy. In the eyes of some people, what is the age, and there are such bug films, it is simply incomprehensible.
But the question is how can such a movie not be bugged?
People nowadays are too tired to ask questions about everything, and make logical connections the ultimate criterion for judging the quality of a film. Regardless of shooting techniques, atmosphere creation, shots, and soundtracks, it’s actually putting the cart before the horse.
You must know that this is a popcorn horror movie, and the setting is people fighting crocodiles. This setting is illogical. When people encounter a crocodile, it is still in the water, and it is not a crocodile. 99% of them will hang, and 98% of them will be killed in seconds. It must be logical as you said, how do you shoot it?
Would it be better to lose a lot of very atmospheric and conflicting shots and keep the logic flowing?
Maybe some directors want to make a hardcore extreme survival, which looks like a prison break. In the end, the protagonist uses the perfect technique to fight the crocodile. But this movie isn't, it's a popcorn horror movie, like ten or twenty years ago when a boy takes a girl to the cinema with popcorn, and the girl screams and hugs the boy.
If you don't like this kind of film, you can skip it, but to grasp the logic of this kind of film is no different from going to the football field to play handball, because the director or the screenwriter doesn't take the logic to heart at all. For others, physical shock comes first, and logic comes second, third, and fourth. It's not that people have a problem with their brains, it's just the shooting rules for this kind of film.
Many viewers' eyes are now out of touch with the times, not with the current times, but with the past times. They don't know how to appreciate the beauty of the past times. Many things are eliminated when they are eliminated.
In fact, watching this film in my heart, there is no logical flaw. And there is a sense of time and space travel, as if going back to ten years ago, watching that kind of film at that time. I heard that this director is specializing in making such old horror films, and he loves them very much.
Being too harsh has no meaning other than creating pain for yourself and others. What if you can find the logic bug in this film? Can you rely on this to prove how smart you are, or to make progress in the film industry?
Might as well like me, give yourself a happy weekend, a trip to memories.
