This is a story of a small person who confronts the cruelty of reality and realizes his dream

Although ideals are fragile and vulnerable to reality, we must always embrace ideals, because ideals are like flames that can be rekindled when they are extinguished.

In the movie, the first time King Kong Foot meets Ah Mei, I think it is the finishing touch of the whole film. All the little people have a naive and naive self in their hearts. Many people joined the dance party and were finally stopped by the boss. The ideal is vulnerable to reality. Everyone has their own work and life responsibilities and obligations.

Most of the Shaolin Kungfu disciples are living down and down in the society. They have already given up their Shaolin Kungfu dream. Only King Kong Foot did not lose their original intention in the depressing life, and only wanted to carry forward Shaolin Kungfu. He joined hands with Golden Right Foot to form a Shaolin Kung Fu team. In the end, he not only avenged Golden Right Foot's revenge, but also realized his dream of spreading Shaolin Kung Fu.

The classic happy ending, but I personally feel that the football scene is a bit unfinished, not as sophisticated as the first half of the movie.

The only thing about Zhou Xingchi's movies that I haven't seen until now is the first time. I feel that the later Kung Fu has a similar feeling. It's not the kind of Stephen Chow movies that can be watched many times. I might just like that laugh hahaha

You say, how did Xingye think of combining kung fu and football? Is it really that the national football team is too bad?

Shaolin Soccer quotes

  • Golden Leg Fung: What if you kick the ball and it hits an aeroplane and comes crashing down? Did you think of that?

    Sing: Well, no.

  • Golden Leg Fung: I'm sure no one here would cheat, so...

Team Gangster Player: [a wrench falls out of the bottom of his shorts] Oh, excuse me. I'm a mechanic. It's how I earn my living. I always keep this close, you know, so I won't lose it. I'm on call.

[casually puts wrench back in shorts]
