The first half of the episode when Amir and Hassan were children touched my heart. The two friends who used to depend on each other had a dark side in Amir's heart because of jealousy, and because of cowardice, he chose to retreat at a critical moment. Don't dare to face Amir's idea of trying to drive Hassan away. The darkness of human nature is really painful. Hassan trusts Amir so simply and selflessly, to the point of being a loyal dog, but the shadow in Amir's heart makes him turn a blind eye to Hassan's efforts.
If the first half is personal darkness, the second half depicts a dark society. The devastation and desolation brought by the war are filled with despair everywhere. As an adult, Amir should also regret what he did to Hassan, but he was cowardly and didn't think about doing anything about it. Even after learning that Hassan had died trying to protect Amir's former home, he still didn't want to go to the dangerous hometown. If it wasn't for the strong request of his father's old friend, Amir would not have set foot to find Hassan's son. trip.
In Amir's heart, he should be glad that Hassan was dead, otherwise, no matter how much he blamed himself, he would never be able to face Hassan, his former servant, playmate, friend, and younger brother.
"For you, thousands of times",,,,hey.

As someone who hasn't read the original, I think this story is quite A good and contagious story, but the shooting angle is a bit rushed and rough, I feel that some meaningful content should be omitted, resulting in a decrease in the shock of the whole film. Otherwise, the score of this film could be higher.
