justice from science

I've been watching CSI, and I like the characters in the Las Vegas chapter, especially Grayson. I generally don't like old men, but I like Grayson as a criminologist, an entomologist. He has a deep taste of a scientist, professional and serious, which fascinates me.
Of course, watching CSI isn't just about watching Grayson, there are other good criminologists. But more importantly, it is because of the stories behind every case, every investigation, and every murder.
CSI is not simply a show of science, it also contains human nature, the darkness of society and all kinds of love and family relationships. The results of some cases are always depressing. Murder cases caused by parental carelessness or family misunderstandings are the most sad and thought-provoking. The tragedy of family ethics exists in every corner of the world, siblings cannibalized and relatives turned against each other, originating from the original Abel and Cain. But in fact, almost all sins are due to desire. People's hearts are like unfilled ravines, desires are hard to be flattened, and tragedies are hard to come by.
The seven deadly sins... all of them are because of desire. I think mortals should also recite sutras and chant Buddhas, with less desire, more dedication, and closer to a better life.
CSI goes on and so does our life.
