A classic interpretation of a classic

Love and money come together to a high degree of perfection in this realistic work that shines with the brilliance of romanticism. The version launched by the BBC in 1995 perfectly interprets this classic novel. The personable gentlemen and ladies, the delightful English countryside scenery, and the lighthearted plot make this film the best choice for a long holiday. I really want to re-read the original book again!

Jennifer Ellie, who plays Elizabeth, and Colin Firth, who plays Darcy, are a perfect match. Unexpectedly, I had already watched their performances in the movie "The King's Speech" released last year. Time is not forgiving!
