The level of Part 9 has definitely dropped.
There are two points to mention:
1 I have always believed that when each justice party wins the final victory, the film will reflect the reason for their victory - an inner spiritual core (such as the power of the family in the past), which is also the output of the film's educational significance.
And the spiritual core of the final victory this time (one is hitting the satellite, the other is winning the car battle) is not the wisdom of turning a corner, nor the belief in sacrifice and dedication, but the handsome mouth like the traditional "American cool" Escape (The astronaut hits the satellite unscathed by making a big move by pretending to force his lines), and Dom's fairy car skills. It's really cool. After watching it, I always feel that I lack a bit of a sense of suffocation, and I lack the idea of "reminiscing". Especially after thinking about it carefully, I always feel that from this pure gambling behavior, I can't analyze the " meeting ". Difficult and effective solutions ", I feel a little bit of wisdom.
2 A doubt: Why does the righteous side not hesitate when killing people? I have always felt that the level of craftsmanship of most film and television dramas is reflected in whether each behavior is strictly logical (detailed to the inner logic of each character) . The villain's murder is probably logical, but I see Dom throwing the agent into the abyss without hesitation (personally, I think he doesn't know there is water underneath), Han blows the agent directly, and so on, there will be a slight sense of disobedience. They have experienced hundreds of battles, and there is undoubtedly a lot of blood on their hands, but they must not be bloodthirsty people. At least I think that if they can be subdued or knocked down, they will definitely die. But it seems that in pursuit of the brilliance and drama of the fight, Fast Furious 9 let the "reasonable behavior" give way - making the characters kill people when they are not necessary.
ps: I miss the days when Johnson and Guo Da were there
