owl of the lord of the rings

I saw some propaganda before saying that this film is "the owl version of "The Lord of the Rings", and I was a little hesitant. After all, the theme of "The Lord of the Rings" is not my cup of tea. I once fell asleep watching it in the cinema. Pass. (It must be admitted: "The Lord of the Rings" is definitely an excellent movie, it's just a matter of my personal taste, I don't like this ancient war theme) Sure enough, this "Guarding the Legend" made me sleepy again.

This film is the first three books based on the original novel. Maybe because the space is too large and there are too many things to talk about, 90 minutes is not enough, so the effect of the final film is that the plot develops too fast, and many emotions have not been accumulated, and they have passed by like a lantern. From this point of view alone, this film can't compare with the delicateness of "The Lord of the Rings".

Zack Snyder's two previous films I love: Watchmen and the 2003 remake of Romero's Dawn of The Dead. I don't know why he chose such a cartoon this time.

  • Ezylryb: Feel the gutters, the currents in the rain! A scupper! A swillage! Baggywrinkles!

Otulissa: Baggywrinkles? He could have at least given us a vocabulary list.

  • Metalbeak: Well, the legendary Lyze of Kiel. Once again, it's come down to just you and me. At last, I can take my revenge for this.

Ezylryb: Hmm. You should thank me. It appears to be an improvement.
