Noble classic elegance

It's still an old film, I remembered it for a long time, put it aside, I thought it was "Seventy Years Back in Time" I watched before, but I found out that it wasn't when I opened it today. Finally watched it. The ones with Meg Ryan are usually light comedies, suitable for light-hearted watching. And then lightly crossed his mind, leaving a faint impression. It seems that I have been seeing movies related to time and space all the time recently.
Suddenly, the Duke arrived more than 100 years later. At first, I always thought that he could not adapt to such a modern life, but that kind of gentleman who is elegant, personable, gentle, and has a profound connotation, so charming, so fluent in British accent, always It makes people feel noble. I always feel this kind of feeling in British films. It is noble, classical and elegant, like "Becoming Jane Austen" I watched not long ago.
Light comedies can't always impress me very much, but Hugh Jackman, such a charming man, has a completely different feeling from x man, I'm going to go crazy with Hugh Jackman's movie.

My favorite Meg beauty and the handsome guy Wolverine jointly perform the warm work, this lineup alone is enough to make a gimmick, not to mention that it caters to my innocent girlish feelings - Scorpio "Wild Girl" and "Libra" silly boy story - how can I not call it a good one? Although it can't be called a masterpiece, and there is no new theme, but the plot is light and humorous, and the burden is constant, it is worth watching.

Kate & Leopold quotes

  • [Talking on the phone]

    Stuart: Are you sitting down?

    Kate: [standing] Yes.

    Stuart: No, you're not.

    Kate: Yes, I am.

    Stuart: No, you're not.

    Kate: Ye...

[Kate sits down in chair with a thud]

    Kate: Okay.

    Stuart: I found it.

    Kate: What did you find?

Stuart: The portal. A crack in the fabric of time. It was over the East River, Kate, just where I said it would be.

    Kate: You found the portal?

Stuart: A portal into April 28th, 1876. I jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge and took a walk in 1876 today. I followed the Duke of Albany around old New York. Are you listening?

    Kate: Avidly.

Stuart: This here's the twist, Kate. Here's the kicker.

    Kate: What's the kicker?

Stuart: [whispering] He followed me home.

  • Kate: Why are you standing?

Leopold: I am accustomed to stand when a lady leaves the table.
