Kate: Oh, you better not know. That's a meaningful story, further proof that you can't live in a fairy tale.
Leopold: Maybe, well, maybe all love stories are just adult fairy tales, a myth that's been instilled since childhood, so we've been buying magazines, going to clubs, getting therapy, watching movies, listening to pop songs, playing With a game of love montages, all these poor attempts only illustrate why our beloved Santa Claus always gets caught in the chimney.
Leopold: You know that's disgusting, and you don't hesitate to let me embrace it? When a man finds himself involved in a worthless thing, he can withdraw.
Kate: No, no, because sometimes you have to do things you don't like to do, and sometimes you have to stick with and finish what you started. It's part of life.
Leopold: What happened to the world? You can enjoy convenience, enjoy comfort, but have no time for honesty.
- I get it, I get it, it sounds crazy talking about looking for cracks in time under the East River, but, really, it's as crazy as a dog finding a rainbow, dogs are colorblind, they can't see colors, just like we see In time, we can't see it, it's blurry, but we can feel it, we can feel it passing. It's like we're sitting on a supersonic train and time flies, but think if we could stop the train and go out and look around and see what time really is, a universe, a world, An incredible thing, as true to a dog as color is to the chair you sit on. Now, if we could see it like that, and really look at it, maybe we could see the structure and the flaws at the same time.
A happy ending, I believe in dreams, give people hope, a very American film. There are countless such movies, and although they are not my favorites, I still like to watch them often. Or, we can really use the shield of hope to ward off the cold of reality, just maybe, I doubt it.
But at least, when I was watching the movie, I was sure.
