This type of movie is not my thing after all, although the music is beautiful and the actors' performance is also very good. It is said that the theme of the film is to show the emotional independence of women, and there is a little bit of female consciousness, but after watching a lot of Japanese SM movies, I always feel that the heroine was molested by the man, so I woke up. The sultry temperament in my heart... uh, my favorite scene in the whole film is when the heroine's husband cuts off one of his wife's fingers with an axe out of jealousy, and then the heroine doesn't cry. I didn't scream, I just frowned and caressed the wound, with uncompromising stubbornness in my eyes, and walked away with no expression on my face. After walking a few steps, I finally couldn't hold back and collapsed, which made me feel some kind of shock. The film later won five awards at the 66th Academy Awards, including Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Screenplay. Anna Paquin was only 11 years old when she won the award, genius. But although I admire the actors, I really don't like the characters.
