Few TV dramas are made to express the serendipity of tragedy

Eight episodes, a very reasonable number of episodes, tell the story of a special case where mental illness has side effects in family relationships. The mother's hobby is very cult: she likes to promote the chronic death of her daughters, so she feeds her daughters a mixture of drugs such as rat poison and antifreeze, and enjoys the satisfaction of poisoning in the name of taking care of her daughter.

The thing that fascinates me about this play is that it doesn't deliberately set suspense, and there is only one hole dug from beginning to end. Two clues: the girl's murder and the heroine's family history are intertwined. In terms of text conversion and picture performance, the clip transfer and flashback interspersed are logical and reasonable.

The heroine who likes to self-mutilate, the rebellious and eccentric sister, the mother who likes sadism - these settings can be guessed at a glance are some vivid and graded pictures, but this show does not try to start from the audience's senses, but focuses on showing It captures the mediocre and tasteless daily life in the small town and creates a sense of authenticity for the storytelling.

There is no obvious coincidence design, there is no ups and downs of great joy and sorrow, and the emotional collapse of the characters accumulates and stacks, so Amy's acting skills are not abrupt when they erupt. This psychological thriller is about one thing: the contingency of tragedy, that despair and failure, fear and cowardice don't strike you when you're ready.
