No comments on the ending, just watched the first version of the ending. Didn't guess who Charlie was, but the answer was surprisingly absurd, or cruel. I can't accept the film whose father is a villain. I always feel that my father should be a very worthy image in the movie. I always wanted to laugh when I saw Robert De Niro, because I unconsciously thought of the shark gang boss he dubbed in Shark Gang. . . It was a fierce fish but cared for its own children; it was much better than this shy human father.
But what should raise eyebrows is Fanning's performance. It's not easy, although the young actor kept saying how scary the script was, I didn't see it. It was she who made the film more or less fit with its selling point. A gloomy look, quite realistic. Acting. Very sad for Emily in the film. Mom went and Dad did. How cruel for a child. But fortunately, there is Lisa to accompany her. From the perspective of 5 different endings, Lisa will be her support in the future.
There are quite a few thrillers like a child with a fantasy friend, but this one isn't very good. Compared to watching the supernatural orphanage that makes people want to cry, Americans are still a bit cruel.
