Terrible, insincere

"Hellboy: The Rise of the Blood Queen" and Toro's two "Hellboys" are simply terrible! Really can't believe how they can ruin this IP into such a ghost? The plot of the whole film can be summed up as follows: the goddess Mira is crazy! Just use this to cater to the tastes of the dead house? And all the scenes that you think are cool, all of them are in the trailer!

The whole movie is very chaotic and very detached. It can be seen that they scrambled together several different stories from the original comics and then shoved them into the movie. There are "Buds of Destruction", "Wild Hunt", "Mexican Adventure", and the long "Destroy the World" by Hellboy and King Arthur. And it can be seen that the traces of patchwork are very obvious, and it is almost a rigid patchwork. Moreover, the characters in the original work are all forced to appear in turns, regardless of whether they are related or not. "Lobster Man" Johnson, a World War II superhero and Hellboy's childhood idol, was inexplicably pulled out for a walk. Similarly, there are Granny Yaga and Rasputin, the demon monk. These are the main bosses in a separate chapter. Here, they take turns going through the motions like a dragon.

The monster design is also pretty bad. Check out Toro's Hellboy II: The Golden Legion, every monster is amazingly designed! I still remember that weird and coquettish angel of death. Even in the troll market scene, every monster passing by in the background is beautifully designed, and the whole movie worldview gives people an ancient and mysterious texture. In this book, you know that sticking mucus, blood plasma, residual limbs, brain flowers, and internal organs on your face will disgust you. The style is too low!

Torona's version of Hellboy's character is irritable, but full of childishness, outspoken and cute. Although he is a rough guy who can only move his fists, he usually likes candy and cats, and he is also keen on collecting old songs. The whole person is ugly and cute, I will like this character very much after watching it. The Hellboy in this "Blood Queen" is ugly, a pure violent madman, and his combat power is so weak that he really doesn't like him.

After so many years of waiting, what I waited for was not Toro's "Hellboy 3", but such a huge and insincere #Hellboy:The Rise of the Blood Queen# , really disappointing! !
