Until the last half hour of the movie (Amy’s boyfriend and the music box had a collision of spirit and flesh), the two protagonists who led the comedy session were not as good as the play, plus the dry dialogue between the characters and the hard jokes. The first half of the movie has always been filled with a breath of embarrassment.
If you consider the difficulties that need to be overcome to make this work from the perspective of the filmmaker, the qualifications of the shooting team and the resources that need to be obtained. The director is obviously barely qualified for filming American dramas. The screenwriter is the screenwriter of the Mind Attack Team and the sixth season of 30 Rock, and he clearly writes something interesting.
