when there was me and you

The movie "High School Musical", I saw a short translated version on TV last time, and I liked it more and more. Today I finally found a chance to watch it completely. After watching it, I found that my favorite was the first time I watched it, specifically the scene of a song in that short segment. Gabriella was standing by the window, looking downstairs at Troy, surrounded by the cheering crowd. The music plays:

it's funny, when you find yourself looking from the outside. i'm standing here, but all i want is to be over there. why did I let myself believe miracles could happen?

because I liked the view when there was me and you.

The story is relatively complete, but the song and dance are not as good as the second part~~

I think it should be called "hot youth". With such a group of enthusiastic young people, how can this country and nation not be prosperous? Although the scene and storyline are a bit clichéd, the youthful enthusiasm that overflows everywhere in the film is like the scorching sun of summer, which makes people melt in it involuntarily. The repertoire of each paragraph is so beautiful, the actors' performances are also very good, and the ending is so gratifying. It is really a masterpiece in youth movies!

High School Musical quotes

  • Ms. Darbus: What is going on here?

Sharpay: Look at this! That Gabriella girl just dumped her lunch on me! On purpose! It's all part of their plan to ruin our musical. And Troy and his basketball robots are obviously behind it! Why do you think they auditioned? After all the work you've put into this show...

    [throws Gabriella a hate-filled look]

Sharpay: ... it just doesn't seem right!

Mrs. Montez: The teen party? I've laid out your best clothes. Come get ready.

Gabrilla Montez: Can I have my book back?
