Maybe it was because I didn't see much medieval themes, but I yearned for it, so I couldn't stop watching it. The protagonist is a bit of a lonely star, and his character is generally an American superhero in the Middle Ages (maybe bbc to please the American audience). Alfred's character is well formed, with shortcomings and strengths, and he describes the low-key kingly domineering well. Many people like to compare this drama with Game of Thrones. I have watched them all, but I don’t know much about it. In the eyes of a superficial person like me, the two should be in between.
To make a complaint, I like the protagonist’s friend who called him arseling all day long, but he died in the war for unknown reasons. The unknown
man wiped his neck with an axe... I feel that the old king’s son might do something later. But it's pure feeling, I haven't read the original work, and I'm not experienced.
