"Roots Matter"

A rare film of more than two hours, shot like prose, but not sleepy. After the plot of the section developed, I tried my best to figure out what the author of the puzzle wanted to express, and finally I finally understood it with the help of other people's film reviews.

The first half of life is like an impressive new book, ambitious, to become the crown of the upper class, and the second half of life has become an indescribable nothingness, like a car that drives around the crown, but goes nowhere. The little train that doesn't work. "Root" is the hometown that can be returned, the truth of the little girl's view of the world, the power of anger and questioning, the effort to live well every day, and the belief that is true to oneself. Death comes at any time, and the individual is insignificant to the whole world, and it is also insignificant to the individuals around him. The party at night continued, and the sun rose as usual during the day. The circle of friends likes either relatives or party B. It is better to participate in the game if you think too much and some don't. It's normal for things to backfire. The antidote to controlling negative emotions is to dance like a stripper in the play, and people don't stop, and then, accidentally meet the protagonist. Well, if something backfires, there will be surprises, provided that you keep walking.

Waiting for Godot will not appear, why should there be meaning in life, like a math problem that can never be solved, instilled with all kinds of artificial and specious answers. Enjoy every day, with curiosity, with gratitude, "resonance" with life, "beauty" is always there, and the game ends at any time.

The Great Beauty quotes

  • Jep Gambardella: To this question, as kids, my friends always gave the same answer: "Pussy". Whereas I answered "The smell of old people's houses". The question was "What do you really like the most in life?" I was destined for sensibility. I was destined to become a writer. I was destined to become Jep Gambardella.

  • Jep Gambardella: Madame Ardant!

Fanny Ardant: [after a long pause] Bonne nuit.
