A masterpiece not only about growing up

Profound and thoughtful. Personally, I think it can be compared with "Interstellar", which is the two best films I think in recent years. "Interstellar" tells a grand story in a subtle way, and brings the seemingly distant sci-fi things very close. "When the Monster Knocks on the Door" tells a story that should be plain and old-fashioned very deeply and touchingly. , awakening many things that paralyze themselves. Really, I feel that children can't understand what this movie is about at all, and each adult's perception will be different. This is also the best part of the whole film. It tries to awaken some adults' escapism. , although a bit cruel but it is reality. In terms of concept, "Interstellar" is more grand and profound, and in terms of meaning, "When the Monster Knocks on the Door" is richer, more three-dimensional, and more rooted in life. I have watched this film back and forth 5 times, and I can responsibly say that it is a good film that is seriously underestimated by the Chinese people. The details of the film are also very scrutinized. In real life, there is a similar experience of losing my mother as in the movie, and the performance is naturally in place and explosive, so it is not overshadowed by the light of the powerful big names. I decided to wait until my son turns 12 and show him this movie in the hope that it will give him some growth.
