The moment the tree man appeared, I thought it was a movie for children. After seeing the first story, I realized that I underestimated it.

This is a fairy tale for adults.

The first story, the king and the prince, the queen and the stepmother, begins with the standard fairy tale style. The prince is good, stepmother is bad. Good people live in peace, and bad people get what they deserve. All good kids think so. The young successor married the aged king, who died shortly after. After taking power, the prince fell in love with the village girl. In order to escape the clutches of the successor, the prince led the girl to flee. When the prince woke up under a tree in the wild, he found the girl in a pool of blood. When the news spread to the country, the prince led the angry citizens to rush into the palace to regain the imperial power, and the end was unknown. From then on, the country prospered and developed vigorously under the leadership of the prince.

What a natural way the story goes. All purposes make sense, the prince is a good man, and he should die after that. However, the truth is that the prince took the life of the woman he loved and did not poison the king afterwards. But at least the end of the story is good.
