A story of redemption

It's a story of self-redemption, where Connor wants the monster to save his mom, but it's himself who really needs to be saved.

In fact, Connor had long believed that his mother would leave. He asked why his father came and why his grandmother wanted to live with him. He already knew the ending, but he was reluctant to admit it. So the monster was summoned.

The monster tells three stories, the first story is that there is no absolute good and absolute bad in the world, people are all in between. The second story is that people have to have faith, and faith is above everything else. The act of guiding Connor to smash things derived from the second story is to make Connor reconcile with his grandmother. The third story is that of the Invisible Man, which allows Connor to say no and fight, even when Connor is alone. The final story is about Connor's own nightmare, making him reconcile with himself and save himself. In fact, at the beginning of the first story, I didn't understand the meaning of existence, but when I saw the ending, I suddenly thought that if the monster is the mother, then everything can be explained. These are what the mother wants Connor to understand. In the end, the monster said that I will always Accompanying you is what my mother wanted to say.

In the movie, in addition to the realization that the monster is the most touching thing for my mother at the end, my mother said that when you regret later that you didn't tell me what you wanted to say, I understand what you want to say. Mom will always love Connor forever.

Love is a belief.
