I have a rare craving for chicken soup.

I really wanted to give it one star because I was disappointed and sad after watching this movie. But think about it and be realistic.
I was very disappointed because I watched the trailer and it was very burning. I went to the movie with the idea of "How will McQueen win", and I was still thinking about this problem until the end of the movie, and I was slapped by the screenwriter in the end.
It's sad because I experienced the cruelty of reality in an animated film, but it doesn't mean that animation must be as beautiful as a fairy tale. I also know that McQueen is old, he can't run faster than a new car, he can't run like a car forever, he can't be synonymous with speed forever. But I thought there was still a little "just in case" possibility, after all, this is a sports inspirational movie. I watched McQueen toss and toss, and the end result of all my efforts was that I knew I was going to die. Ironically, I can't find a reason for McQueen to win either. When McQueen went to the new training center, met the new sponsors, and looked at the memorial wall full of his past glory and honor, I actually said to myself in my heart: "There is no chance for McQueen, after all, this is absolute speed. But how can you give up easily if you don’t fight, the replacement of cars is getting faster and faster, if you admit defeat as soon as a very advanced car appears, how can you create a legend?…”
I have never been so eager for a bowl of inspirational chicken soup. In the end, the screenwriter told me: impossible, stop daydreaming.

If this story ends, the protagonist should be Sister Cool (I don't think it matters whether this character is male or female, she is just an inheritor). But it's obviously not possible. If people don't know who she is by printing her in the main position of the poster, McQueen still has the appeal. The story line is also the main push of McQueen, and the role of Sister Cool is relatively too small. There's a scene in the movie where McQueen knew that his friend (I forgot his name) retired and ran to ask him. The friend said: "I asked my uncle how do you know when you should retire? My uncle said, the newcomer will tell you the answer." The person who told McQueen the answer was not those shiny new cars, not the mighty Black Storm, Cool lady. The last three laps of practice cool sister's back told McQueen, you are really old.

I prefer McQueen to announce his retirement as soon as he overturned the car (it seems that many legendary cars retire after a car accident), and then slowly find the meaning of life after he is not a car. McQueen went out for the first time after the car accident. The villagers surrounded him and asked about the next plan. Watching McQueen hesitantly, the villagers were all scared, afraid that McQueen would say he would retire. In fact, McQueen is more afraid than anyone else.” Retire" is the word. In this movie, McQueen never said anything about giving up. In the end, even if he escaped the fact that he lost the gambling contract in an almost rogue way, he was still reluctant to say retiring. I always feel that McQueen is always unwilling.

After watching the movie, I thought: "Why is only the first one worthwhile? An old car can still run into the top ten when the last one starts in the race of a bunch of new cars. Is such a bad result? Isn't that the first car to retire?" I figured it out later. McQueen found Lao Mo, and Lao Mo told him: "The doctor saw your potential back then, but he didn't realize it himself." In fact, this heralded the most cruel words to McQueen, which the movie never expressed from beginning to end. I think McQueen himself should have realized: "I have no potential." Yes, he can continue to run, with his experience, skills and lightning's name, he can run in the top ten, and even have a chance to hit the first place Second, the sponsor is not a problem, but he can't win the fastest car, he can only get slower and slower. Seeing herself being overtaken constantly made McQueen feel so uncomfortable.

Fortunately, the cruel words to McQueen, McQueen himself can say to Sister Cool, and it is not so cruel to say so.

"I don't have the potential anymore, but you have it." The

above are purely personal remarks, if you don't like it, you can spray it casually.

Cars 3 quotes

  • Ramone: [after giving Lightning a new paint job] It's like the Sistine Chapel on wheels.

Lightning McQueen: [starts riving his engine in front of a mirror] I'm coming for you, Storm.

  • Cruz Ramirez: [Cruz is watching the news with a trophy while Lightning is completely miffed] So... trophy's kinda nice. Don't you think?

    [no response]

Cruz Ramirez: I-I mean, I know like, you've got a billion of them, so y-you would know.

    [still no response]

Cruz Ramirez: I still can't believe I won. Heheh. It's pretty shiny. I have never seen one up close. Looks like they spent a lot of money on it, I-I mean, I think it's real metal...

Lightning McQueen: Stop. Just stop! Okay, Cruz? You don't even know. You don't even have one clue!

Cruz Ramirez: Hey! I was trying to...

Lightning McQueen: Do you know what happens if I lose this race?

    [Cruz doesn't answer]

Lightning McQueen: Every mile of this trip was to get me faster than Jackson Storm. FASTER!

[Luigi, Guido, and Mack listen on in horror]

Lightning McQueen: I start off getting nowhere for a week ON A SIMULATOR! I lose a whole day with you on Fireball Beach. AND THEN, I WASTE TONIGHT IN THE CROSSHAIRS OF MISS FRITTER! I'm stuck in the same speed I was a month ago! I can't get any faster BECAUSE I'M TOO BUSY TAKING CARE OF MY TRAINER!

[Cruz feeling hurt and remains silent]

Lightning McQueen: This is my last chance, Cruz. Last! Final! FINITO! If I lose, I never get to do this again. If you were a racer, you'd know what I'm talking about! But you're not! So you DON'T!

[he slams his tire on the wall, causing Cruz's trophy to fall off the shelf and break upon hitting the floor; Cruz is crushed]

Cruz Ramirez: [furious] Mack, pull over!

    Mack: Wha? Now?

    Cruz Ramirez: NOW!

    [pushes the button]

Mack: Ahh - Okay okay! Pulling over! Pulling over!

    [Mack pulls over]

Cruz Ramirez: [exits Mack] Ask me if I dreamed of being a trainer, Mr. McQueen, go ahead! Ask me if I got up in the dark to run laps before school every day! Ask me if I saved every penny to buy a ticket to the races when they came to town. Ask me if I did that so that I could be a trainer someday, ask me!

    Lightning McQueen: Did y - ?

Cruz Ramirez: No! I've wanted to become a racer forever! Because of you.

    [Lightning is shocked and heartbroken]

Cruz Ramirez: I used to watch you on TV, flying through the air. You seemed so... fearless. "Dream small, Cruz." That's what my family used to say. "Dream small or not at all." They were just trying to protect me. But, I was the fastest kid in town and I was gonna prove them wrong!

    Lightning McQueen: What happened?

Cruz Ramirez: When I got to my first race, I figured it out.

    Lightning McQueen: What?

Cruz Ramirez: That I didn't belong. The other racers looked nothing like me. You know, they-they were bigger, and-and stronger, and so... confident. And when they started their engines... that was it. I knew I'd never be a racer. I just left. It was my one shot and I didn't take it.

[Lightning feels bad as Cruz decides to leave]

Cruz Ramirez: Yeah, so, uh... I-I'm gonna head back to the training center. I think we both know it's for the best.

[starts to drive away, but turns around again]

Cruz Ramirez: But, can I ask you something? What was it like for you, when you showed up to your first race? How did you know you could do it?

    Lightning McQueen: I don't know, I... I just never thought I couldn't.

Cruz Ramirez: I wish I knew what that felt like. Good luck, Mr. McQueen.

    [starts driving away]

    Lightning McQueen: Cruz... Cruz, wait...!

[Cruz ignores him and he sighs]
