I was deeply impressed by Marion Cotillard's unparalleled acting skills and Edith Piaf's twisted life. It would be an insult to Marion to just say that Marion played Edith alive. She is Edith himself.
The story is still told in a two-part way, which is a little uncomfortable at the beginning. This narration comes to the fore in the second half of the film.
The scene that moved me the most was the same as everyone else, when Edith's father handed her the rag doll towards the end of the film. A warm current came to my heart naturally.
