"The boy who killed himself"
In a peaceful and comfortable afternoon, the boy Joe chose to "strangle" himself in the simplest way. Life has no essence, but the boy’s feelings are paranoid and beautiful, so life becomes purgatory. The boy’s head is stuck on the guillotine, so his father is the executioner. The accomplices are smiling in the stands. He feels ashamed and disgusted to let him hang. Leke’s production class teacher, the girl kelly who is detached from him, the charming handsome Paul, the future stepmother who doesn’t appear much, and the boyfriend of his babbling sister.
Joe killed himself easily. He stole his father's tycoon, money, and tools, and then went to find another casual boy, Patrick, and finally inexplicably took the strange Piaggio on a journey to death.
"There is no time in the forest."
"Of course there is time in the forest. The higher the sun
rises, the later it will be." Joe walked outside the house and saw the sunlight seeping through the leaves. He finally realized that he didn't need to go to bed at 7:30. sleep. Lawn, woods, stream, pond, summer breeze, the three young people enjoy everything in this forest, just like all naive children, they firmly believe that the distance is always poetic, and even breathing is free.
There is a very interesting detail in the first half of the film. Before Patrick and Joe finally entered the woods, they asked about the will of God, and God gave them the answer with a thunder and rain. But in fact, it doesn’t matter who’s will, Joe believes that he can dominate his life, just like the poster says: why live when you can rule
"Dong-dong drums and restless heart."
The film has a very interesting beginning. Joe and Patrick rhythmically beat the drums on the pipeline with wooden sticks. Piaggio danced with his head, making all kinds of exaggerated antics, just like what Indian mysterious tribe left behind. Ancient ritual. It was in the middle of the film when this paragraph appeared again, and Piaggio said seriously: Hey, you must take this matter seriously. Drums are the melody of life. If this woods, the kingdom created by three young people, is alive, the drums are the rhythm of the heart of the kingdom. The three young people dance in this melody, releasing their own enthusiasm for life and the uniqueness of young people. The light, the light will eventually stab each other without knowing that it will converge.
As in all bitter love stories, the turning point of the film is because of two restless hearts.
Joe and Patrick are sitting on the edge of the cliff, bathing in the setting sun. This shot reminded me of "Brokeback Mountain". What a pure friendship, I imagined that maybe this friendship should be transformed into a basic friendship. Then Joe said: We are always missing one thing, the other is good, but there is no woman's touch. Patrick sneered and replied: We have Piaggio. The conversation is relaxed and pleasant, and there are two refreshing bottles of German dark beer. Life is really good. In fact, everyone knows how could there be one less restless heart in these two youthful bodies. Then the heroine entered the kingdom in an extremely bloody way, as if the Mars suddenly rushed into the pyre, and suddenly lit the whole grassland. The princess fell in love with another prince, and the kingdom finally fell apart in rebellion and betrayal.
Youth finally became a prairie fire, consuming the little vitality of everyone. After the heat dissipated, the drums finally slowed down, the heartbeat was not so restless, the body of youth became rickety, and the teenager became mature.
"The young man raises the sword and becomes the king"
finally arrives in the second half of the film. Behind the poem and the distance, the darkness of existence seems to have returned to the young man's body. The unbearable weight of life has always survived somehow. Joe killed a rabbit. He was very sad. He felt that the rabbit was innocent. "Maybe we are all hungry," he said. Joe began to comfort himself, the once mysterious saying that the forest, the warm daylight, the clear stream, and the castle in the center of the kingdom have all become prisons that trap him. Life seems to be different from what you imagined.
When I was watching the movie, I never understood what caused such a child to change. Perhaps his calm heart still contained a broken glass bead. The teenager thought that without family affection, he could still have friendship and love, and then friendship took away love. He didn't seem to have many choices left. Or it is really because of the pressure of survival that this youthful heart has experienced vicissitudes of life after being squeezed. ,
I think he was scared the moment he met the snake, and then he tried to suppress the fear, the maturity in the fantasy came very suddenly, and suddenly he couldn't adapt himself. An idealist raised his sword in front of reality, and the moment he cut off the snake's head was finally cut off from the reality he thought. Those beautiful scenes and music suddenly left, and then Love asked him for a hug, Piaggio became his best friend, and his father admitted that he would eventually become a man one day, Joe smiled deliberately and coldly. About the characters: The characterization of the film is my favorite aspect, especially Piaggio. The gods talk about strange things that are hard to replicate. Wearing a devil hat and spit out smoke rings, talking a lot of things that no one understands, do not understand youthful love, no troubles, full of vitality, handsome to no friends, steel pipe poison, nerve type Fighting the snakes, the potential of the god stick was finally exposed.
No one is Piaggio, wise enough to avoid the fools and rebelliousness of youth, we can only be like Steve in "Mommy", Marx in "rushmore", and Joe in "Summer King" Through these same but different days, through this stupid boyhood, and finally left some pretty good memories.
