love in heart

When I was watching this movie in junior high school, when the ending song was released, I felt like I had just woken up from a beautiful dream.

After many years, when I revisit this movie, my favorite Japanese animation movie, it still brings me a lot of moving.

Fourteen-year-old Aryati is kind and brave; Xiang is extremely gentle. If it weren't for the size factor, they were really a good match. Xiang is lonely. He is sick and resting in the countryside, but he meets Aryati, who will never be forgotten in this life. Xiang's grandmother said that his father had seen dwarfs at home, and they also built a beautiful villa for the dwarfs. Xiang and his family are very friendly towards the dwarfs, but A-Chun, the housemaid, is trying so hard to capture the dwarfs alive, which is very annoying. When I was listening to "Abandoned Yard", I saw a comment, "We all hate the old maid in the movie, but in fact most of us are her". Come to think of it, it does. I tend to forget my ugliness, and gradually see ugliness as something normal. Slowly, I lose my original innocence and beauty.

Xiang and his family are very kind and beautiful people. They have passed down their love for the dwarfs, and their kind and beautiful qualities have also been passed down from generation to generation.

The Secret World of Arrietty quotes

  • Arietty: I have to go. When is your operation?

Shô: The day after tomorrow. I'm going to be okay. You gave me the courage to live.

Arietty: [Unclipping the pin from her hair & giving it to Shawn] For luck.

    Shô: Thanks.

Arietty: [Now crying] You protected me after all.

    Shô: Arrietty...

Arietty: I hope you have the best life ever. Goodbye.

Shô: Arrietty, you're a part of me now. I'll never forget you, ever.
