heartbeat

When you like me, I don't like you; when you love me, I like you; when you leave me, I love you; you go too fast, or I can't keep up Your footsteps... The narrative perspective of "Heartbeat" is mainly from the inner perspective of a little boy and a little girl to narrate the unique feelings towards each other in life. Enlarge, the troubles of youth and hazy love are really beautiful troubles. This is mixed with a narrative angle shift for a richer unfolding of the storyline, and what better way to develop a storytelling than the omnipotent angle? The change of narrative angle not only makes the story vivid, but the narration between "you" and "I" seems to the audience of the film as if they are sincere. Entering the mood that the author wants to express, a little warm smile emerges from time to time.

  • Chet Duncan: Some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin, some in gloss, but every once in a while you find someone who's iridescent, and once you do, nothing will ever compare.

  • Juli Baker: [on why she's interested in Bryce] I guess it's something about his eyes... or maybe his smile.

Richard Baker: Well, what about him?

    Juli Baker: What?

Richard Baker: You have to look at the whole landscape.

Juli Baker: What does that mean?

Richard Baker: A painting is more than the sum of its parts. A cow by itself is just a cow, a meadow by itself is just grass, flowers... and the sun peeking through the trees is just a beam of light, but you put them all together... and it can be magic.
