The film is about the kind of adolescence kind of love war between Jolie and Bryce.

Julie was attracted to Bryce's eyes the first time she met him. She thought she had found the person who wanted her first kiss, but Bryce tried her best to stay away from Julie. He felt that Julie was a Very strange person, although Julie is very good, but that kind of psychology makes him shield the charming glittering points of Julie for a time.

Julie's entanglement makes Bryce deeply disgusted, but Julie is also an independent girl with a delicate and sensual heart. She likes the plane tree very much. She can see the most beautiful scenery on the tree, until the plane tree. The day the tree was cut, Julie began to think about Bryce's actions, and she asked herself if she really liked Bryce? The eggs that Julie sent were even secretly thrown away by Bryce. Julie discovered that self-esteem is her bottom line, which is her pursuit of love based on self-esteem. Since then, Julie's attitude towards Bryce has changed a lot. . She thought Bryce was acting like a coward and would only run away, and she observed everyone, the most rotten part of everyone's heart.

Bryce realizes his mistake, and at the same time knows the situation in Julie's family, he begins to discard those prejudices, he sees her hard work, seriousness, hard work, etc. - these are the shining points he has never seen before. He begins to realize his heart for Julie... The film ends with Bryce and Julie planting a small plane tree together. The plot of the film is real and plain, but it has a moving power. It shows true feelings in plainness, and sees philosophy in life. This is a very good film and worth watching.

This is my personal opinion on this film, I highly recommend this film

  • Chet Duncan: Some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin, some in gloss, but every once in a while you find someone who's iridescent, and once you do, nothing will ever compare.

  • Juli Baker: [on why she's interested in Bryce] I guess it's something about his eyes... or maybe his smile.

Richard Baker: Well, what about him?

    Juli Baker: What?

Richard Baker: You have to look at the whole landscape.

Juli Baker: What does that mean?

Richard Baker: A painting is more than the sum of its parts. A cow by itself is just a cow, a meadow by itself is just grass, flowers... and the sun peeking through the trees is just a beam of light, but you put them all together... and it can be magic.
