The purpose of the eight missions is to challenge and conquer nature while respecting and protecting nature. When Bohdi was performing the fourth surfing mission, he was disrupted by Johnny. Afterwards, it was said that Johnny’s lack of respect when surfing was different from what he had done before as an extreme sportsman. Different, that's because Johnny is already an FBI agent. Then Johnny, as an undercover agent, completed two of the eight tasks with Bohdi and his team, including wing gliding and skiing. At this time, the fuse to reveal the identity of the undercover agent was inserted-gold mine explosion, the reason was to return the resources stolen by humans. I feel that this section is a little harder, and it is a plot that is inserted for the purpose of connecting. After the identity is exposed, it is similar to the general police and gangster film. The shootout, someone died, the clue is broken, and the protagonist has a brainstorm and new discoveries. And this discovery is the seventh item, go to Angel Fall to go unprotected rock climbing. As a rock climbing person, I have to say that the waist strength of these characters is also too good, and they can climb all kinds of places greater than 90 degrees. After reaching the top, Bohdi suddenly fell from the top of Angel Fall. This was classified as the eighth "unconditional trust" (forgot to be specific), and this place was taken lightly in the movie, which inevitably disappointed me, after all. This is the last task of "Nirvana". Of course, it is the last one under the condition that all the previous 7 items have been successfully completed. In the movie, Bohdi missed the fourth item. At the end of the movie, Bohdi is ready to dedicate himself to the waves. The sea, return to nature.
In fact, such a theme is great, but it’s a pity that it is not well explained. If you can concentrate on the implementation of these 8 tasks, it will be a very beautiful piece with the magnificent scenery of the earth and the thrilling extreme sports special effects. Movies, however, add elements of crime, police and gangsters, it is inevitably a bit nondescript. I have never seen the 1991 original "Point Break" remake of this movie. There is no comparison or comparison.
After watching this movie, it reminded me of Luc Besson's "The Big Blue" ("The Big Blue"), willing to dedicate myself in order to satisfy or protect what I regard as the most precious thing. It may be difficult or impossible to explain such behavior, but this is the meaning of abstract existence.
