In my limited movie viewing experience, the two Mamma Mia are rare movies that bring me pure and pure pleasure. The small Greek town is like a paradise, with bright sunshine and blue sky. The houses with white walls and blue doors are built on the mountain, which are integrated with the sea and the beach. In the early morning, when the windows are opened, the sea breeze blows, and the waves reflect the golden light of the rising sun. Although the story is not always smooth sailing, and the clear sky has also been hit by heavy rains, but together with family and friends, singing and dancing, we can turn our worries into joy, dispel the haze, and regain our smiles. The sunshine and optimism infected the audience in front of the screen.
The story of "Mamma Mia 2" is not as complicated as the previous one. In the first part, there were only a few numbers in Donna's diary, but only a few words were read out by her daughter. In this one, they got 20,000 words Equivalent expansion. However, compared to the straightforward narrative of the previous work, the sequel—which is also a prequel—uses montage in narrative techniques, combined with background music, so that the Sophie couple, Donna and her daughter frequently break the boundaries of space and even time. Jiyou and three lovers correspond one-to-one on two storyline nodes spanning half a century, achieving synchronization across time and space. It's a pity that the young actors who played the three fathers' youth have similar appearances and accents, but it is still difficult to have the charm of the three old handsome guys. But maybe that greenness is just what the film needs. The retro music style is in the same line as the previous work. Compared with the slightly deliberate retro style of the previous work, it perfectly interprets Donna's uninhibited youth.
Coincidentally, I recently revisited the old song Simple Plan's Astronaut. I heard this song on "Crazy English" in middle school, but never thought to listen to the whole album Get Your Heart On! by the way. As soon as I heard it, I suddenly had a kind of surprise of "found a treasure": I thought that my ears were tired, and I decided to listen to which song I found the melody to be more watery, so I took off the earplugs and rested. As a result, I couldn't find the pee spot until I finished listening to the whole album. Get Your Heart On! Like "Mamma Mia", the melody is full of the smell of sunshine and sea water, whether it is the narration and lover's glue like paint (Can't Keep My Hands Off You), or sigh " The loneliness of winning the world and losing her (Loser Of The Year), depicting the longing of long-distance couples (Jet Lag), and even the accusation of green tea (You Suck At Love), although the youthful music style has different emotions, But it sounds as comfortable as bathing in the sea breeze.
If you want to feel the sea breeze and sunshine on a gloomy rainy day, watch Mamma Mia 2. In today's increasingly rare musical films, it can remove the haze and bring simple and pure happiness.
