I never hide my love for musical movies.
10 years ago, on my way home after watching Mamma Mia, I couldn't help but hum the songs from the movie and dance with excitement.
Today, 10 years later, after a long and boring vacation, I arrived at Mamma Mia 2: Go Again, I bought the tickets for the first day and the first show, and sat alone in the familiar last row.
Sure enough, this is still a movie that makes me dance.
Sure enough, there were not many people in the huge theater.
Mamma Mia tells the story of 20-year-old Sophie, raised alone by her mother Donna, who has always wondered who her father is. Finally, when her wedding was approaching, Sophie found the diary written by her mother when she was pregnant with her, and found that Donna had a story with Sam, Bill and Harry during that time. Sophie invited three fathers to the island where she lived, and the family was reunited.
In the sequel, Donna dies and Sophie inherits the hotel run by her mother. After discovering she was pregnant, Sophie asked Donna's best friend and her three fathers about her mother's youth. Young Donna was indeed a girl with a story. After graduating from college, she traveled across Europe, experienced things, met people, and finally settled and gave birth to Sophie on a happy island in Greece. Sophie imitated her mother when she was young and bravely pursued her dreams.
In 1978, Donna graduated from Oxford University. She was full of fantasies about the world and decided to go outside and leave some memories of her youth.
She first came to Paris, a beautiful city. Here, she met the shy boy Harry, a young man who was about to inherit his father's business and work in a bank. Maybe Harry's innocence attracted Donna, and the two had a passionate night. But Donna realized that Harry wasn't going with her and left the next morning.
After traveling in romantic France, Donna decided to go to Greece. Missing the boat, I happened to meet Bill, a sailor who was sunny and cheerful. The two crossed the Aegean Sea by boat and came to an island. Bill hurried out to sea, and the two parted.
This is a beautiful island, and the people on the island are warm and friendly, and that's where she meets Sam, a boy whose future is arranged by his family and flees. Donna likes his bravery and sincerity. The two fell in love, and Donna began to notice. Tried to convince Sam to stay with him too, only to find out he was engaged. Sam left the island in pain.
But the story didn't end there. Sam returns home, quits the engagement, and wants to go back to the island to find Donna. But Donna was heartbroken and went to sea with Bill. She returned to the island soon after and found out she was pregnant, and she has lived here ever since.
Simple and happy plot, very exciting. The happy singing and dancing are even more unforgettable. All songs in this series come from the band ABBA, which was popular at the end of the last century. Songs such as Mamma Mia, I Have A Dream, Dancing Queen, etc., all carry the memory of a generation of Europeans and Americans. The young Donna is played by British actor Lily James. Looking at her performance in Downton Abbey, Cinderella, and Darkest Hour, I once thought she belonged to the kind of British classical beauty, but in this film, her sunny and cheerful personality , The sweet singing really infected me.
Watching young Donna in the movie made me think about my youth.
The laughter in and out of the classroom, and all kinds of interesting things between classmates,
The carnival when graduation is approaching, the hesitation after leaving the campus,
The infinite desire for dreams, the feeling of exhaustion in this world,
Once doubted about finding the value of life, silently accepting the difference between things and people.
There are a lot of things I want to say in my heart, but no one listens, so I have to say it to myself.
The dream was once so close, but slowly left.
I wanted to find the answer, so I started thinking, but I found that thinking is nothing more than adding distress, stop thinking but have nowhere to look.
Slowly, slowly, I feel that there may be no one around you who understands you, and that's because no one needs to understand you.
All the words that have been said and the paths that have been traveled, in fact, in retrospect, are young capital and wealth.
I hope to be like Donna and find an island of my own, full of laughter and laughter.
I hope to have the most sincere friendship, the most beautiful family and the most devout love like Donna.
Therefore, while you are young, go out and venture out, go through many storms and see the world.
While you are young, let's fall in love madly. First love is the most beautiful and purest.
Because you are young, you should cherish it even more.
10 years ago, when I was 8 years old, I was innocent and did not know the taste of sorrow.
After 10 years, I will be 18 years old, full of dreams and a little hope for the future.
After all, life is short and the world is big.
I want to leave some more memories for the world.
