If Midnight in Paris is fictional nostalgia, Love in Rome is realistic praise and banter. As Hemingway said at Midnight in Paris, realistic stories are never a bad subject. The beauty of Rome is vividly remembered in the movie. It is a kind of beauty that does not require you to work hard to discover and craft it. The scenery in the movie is a place that every tourist who has been to Rome will walk through, but also Shocked and obsessed with it. That simple, direct and unrestrained feeling flows through the streets of Rome, food, crowds, sculptures, buildings, white walls and red tiles, broken tiles and rubble, and inadvertently flows through everyone who has been here and who has longed for it. As a passer-by, Woody Allen just recorded all the static and flowing things here, and let everything be expressed through his outsider's eyes. Even the hilarious cold humor clips make you feel Italian and make you fall in love here.
