just an old man's story

It's a very long 120 minutes, but after watching it, I have a lot of feelings in my heart.

It is obviously not the same land, but it connects me to the memory of the village and the elderly. The time has been stretched for a long time, but it seems to pass quickly; a reclining chair in front of the door and the unchanging scenery, just like an occasional storm, every day is so plain, there are no surprises, there is no well-crafted routine .

Alvin's journey is not a daily one: except for every kind stranger he meets, the nearly two-month journey has been accompanied by the noisy but not annoying rumble of the lawnmower's engine. Go down a little slowly. He had too much time to think about his children, grandchildren, memories of the war, people and things he mispaid when he was young, but it didn't seem to make much sense to talk about it. The silence between every conversation makes people fall into the old man's slightly disordered beard and light blue pupils. He doesn't respond to every word, and he doesn't ignite enthusiasm for others. He always does something incredible but the simplest. things, and enjoy the journey across the past set by the stubborn self. Every little accident delayed his arrival, but seemed to pave the way for the day he finally met Lyde. It turns out that people can do unexpected things when they reach 73, such as reconciling with their brother, such as driving a newly bought lawn mower across almost an entire state.

Turns out there's nothing tastier than a cold beer close to your destination.
