A visual feast without nutrition

I have seen many versions of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", the animated version in the early years, the live-action version of the Jiahe New Line co-production in the 1990s (there seems to be 3 episodes, and the box office has dropped geometrically), and the Warner Animation theatrical version in 2006, until 14/16 In the live-action version of Paramount in 2019, all versions of the story are very empty except for feelings.
With the progress of the times and the development of CG technology, "Ninja Turtles" can only do some evolution in visual effects. Going back to the latest Paramount version, 2 to 1 has improved a lot in terms of visual effects, plot promotion, and rhythm control. In the first impression, the four tortoises swooped down from the top of the Empire State Building, took pizza on the way, came to the top of the roof of the New York Knicks home stadium, and in the middle of the game, they grabbed the launch equipment and jumped from a high altitude between two cargo planes. The fight in the cargo hold, the snatch in the final turbulence, and the final fall into the waterfall, the effect of these scenes is really good, which can be called a visual feast. Other than that, the whole movie seems to be lackluster. Teamwork didn't make it clear, and Potential didn't make sense of their respective strengths. The mouse Sensei, who played a major role in the first episode, also became a pure soy sauce in the second episode. Megan Fox also didn't play a big role in the second episode, only a little better than Pure Vase.
In short, although "Ninja Turtles 2" is an improvement over "Ninja Turtles 1", it is still just a summer popcorn movie on the Hollywood assembly line. Just take a look!

Refreshing the lower limit of the heroic protagonist's appearance, the sewer where the turtle lives, the big mouse master, and the two villainous monsters also make people feel sick... The director's fascinating aesthetic haha. However, the CG and big action scenes are still very well done. The two lines of the turtle and the human are also smooth and clear, and the popcorn film has been satisfied.

Watching it with friends, I couldn't understand why I would watch such an ugly thing. . . Why do you want to watch this kind of unbeautiful movie? It needs a plot without a plot, special effects without special effects, and a handsome man without a handsome man. God, what the hell did I watch... I probably slept for an hour throughout the whole process.

    [points to Raph]

Michelangelo: Raphael over there in the red, he's like a big, cuddly teddy bear... if big cuddly teddy bears were incredibly violent.

    [points to Leo]

Michelangelo: This is Leonardo, he's in the blue, fearless leader, silent, but deadly, hah!

    [points to himself]

Michelangelo: And I'm Michelangelo, sporting my signature orange! I'm a triple threat, brains, brawn, and obviously a dazzling personality! Ladies like to call me Mikey!

Leonardo: [puts his arm around Mikey] Are you done?

    Michelangelo: Yeah!

  • [the Turtles and Bebop and Rocksteady float down a river]

    Rocksteady: Bye, Turtles!

Michelangelo: That's nice of them to say goodbye...

    Rocksteady: Heads up!

[the Turtles go over a waterfall screaming]
