"Angel Has Fallen"

I watched Angel Has Fallen today. Gerard Butler as the President's bodyguard and Morgan Freeman as the President of the United States. Although I haven't seen a few movies they acted in, they are still familiar. After watching it, the general feeling is: too much! How dare you use such a bad movie to coax the people of the third world.

The film tells an old-fashioned story. Banning, the bodyguard of the President of the United States, is a security guard who is loyal to the country, loves his job, and is highly skilled in martial arts. He once served in the US military and invaded Iraq, and made many friends in the army. During an operation to protect the president from fishing, he was framed by a friend and involved in a big conspiracy. After that, Banning alone, with the help of his father, and the approval of the president, killed an unknown number of gangsters, and finally rescued the president.

Let’s talk about the positive perception first.

The gang of conspirators in the film planned to assassinate the president by using a large number of drones. When these drones hit, they were like a swarm of "bats" carrying ammunition, and 18 special police officers were killed instantly. If it wasn't for the mercy of the choreographer, the President and Banning would not have escaped this disaster. The use of drones, whether or not technically the high performance described in the film, is entirely feasible, at least in the not-too-distant future. This reminds us of the "Kamikaze Special Forces" that Japan used a lot in the late Pacific War during World War II. The Zero fighter carried a large amount of explosives and rammed into the US warships. Although the U.S. military already has a relatively complete air defense system, in the face of a large number of suicide planes, even if only one passed through the air defense network, the battleship immediately stopped. And modern drones do a similar job, with fewer ethical concerns. In addition, the performance and size of UAVs can also vary widely to adapt to various combat methods such as reconnaissance, attack, bombing, etc. With the development of UAVs, various protection methods are also being developed. On the battlefield, whether the spear or the shield is more powerful depends on the abilities of both sides. In a word, the use of UAVs will become a new and unique important combat mode in the future battlefield, and its role cannot be underestimated. As for those terrorists in the film who use drones to carry out assassination missions, it is just a small test.

Watching this movie reminds me of similar plots in many movies. In addition to American movies, there was a Japanese movie "Hunt" in the 1980s, which was very popular. Ken Takakura became popular in China. At that time, we had little exposure to foreign films, and the first time we saw it, it was very eye-catching. Thirty years have passed and there has been no progress. The audience also went from excited to tired to disgusted. Why don't the Duqiu and Bannings always have a good memory? The reason is that I can't find a good script. This kind of commercial film is propped up by the box office. You can use the audience's ticket money to hire big directors and big stars for big photography, but Tolstoy and Cao Xueqin did not write books for the sake of royalties. Second-rate screenwriters have limited capacity in their minds, and with more money, there is less room for thinking. After all, money can't generate ideas, so creativity is exhausted. Looking at a lot of dollars, I can't write in a hurry. The only way is to cook cold rice.

Look at the actors. Gerard Butler was still frowning thoughtfully. The shape has changed. In "The Fall of the Ice", it is still vigorous. In this film, the family has a good wife, so the food is very good, and it is obviously fat. Invisibly increased the bullet area. He was out of breath after running a few steps. Morgan Freeman is 82 years old and still struggling in the film industry. It's not the first time to play the president. I even suspect that it was because of his "Comet Hits the Earth" that Obama was born. It's a pity that he just got out of sexual harassment, this president is not another president. The black president who was free, firm and calm at the time now has only panic and helplessness in his eyes. The director had to spend most of his time in the hospital bed.

The stunt production shown in the film is still very good and very real. Although it is still the same old-fashioned car chase and crash and rollover, I believe the cost must be greatly reduced. There will also be many friends who will focus on this section. The scenes of several nighttime fights felt dimmed and hard to see. Of course it could also be a problem with my computer screen. The last group photo of the leaders, the PS is still a fusion, but it is also a very old method, and the audience will not be fooled.

Usually I have to watch a movie twice when I plan to write a look and feel. I really don't have the energy to watch this movie a second time. Therefore, there are biases and inaccuracies in the perception, and I hope to understand. For those of you who haven't seen this movie, my advice is not to watch it. Friends who have seen the film, I suggest you look for another domestically produced movie such as "Moths Crossing the River". Although it is more time-consuming, the psychology will always be balanced.

My rating: 3.0.
