A mediocre work with good foreshadowing but lack of stamina

Black humor + a lot of blood plasma + true feelings in the world + absurd divine twist, I only take Simon Pegg's blood and ice cream trilogy for this type of film.

This film is quite interesting from the moment when the protagonist is activated to the massacre at the police station. I didn't expect it to go down all the way after that, slipping more and more into the abyss of plain and mediocre. The bright spot makes people yawn in minutes.

Little Curly's acting skills are a little bit neurotic, and performing literary films is naturally easy to catch, but for action films, it is somewhat redundant, so that the villain in the battle of Bat Super has no charm at all, but it is very annoying. Needless to say, the Twilight Girl, in addition to the Twilight series and this film, I have also watched "Snow White and the Huntsman", and I feel that this woman has only three expressions in total, "desperate and frightened face", "an unhappy threatening face" ” and “Bitterly Smiley Face,” it’s just too unconvincing to play characters with complex experiences and emotions.

A supporting role worth mentioning is the actor Walton Goggins of "laughter", who has a good grasp of the transition between normal and crazy. This gentleman starred in the American drama Justified "Fire Detective" Anti-No. 1, which is also good and evil, between love and morality. Conflict, the performance is remarkable.

It can't be said that this film is very bad, but for this type of film that "wins in the brain", it lacks surprises and is mediocre. Don't expect too much, kill time and brush your face, you can still take a look.

  • Mike Howell: Hey Phoebe! Phoebe?

    [over intercom]

Mike Howell: Hey Phoebe. I just wanted to say that I love you and that everything is going to be okay. I mean, not perfect, obviously, but better. Like, we'll probably have to get a new house. and also cars. But I'm coming to get you and this will all be over. Soon-ish.

  • Laugher: I'm sorry. I can't control it. The things that they did to my head. They made you like they made me. But you're better than me. Who told you what to do?

    Mike Howell: Nobody.

    Laugher: That must be nice.
