Tabs of old wine in new bottles

I played "Living Brain Cells" (SOMA), and I sighed in the circle of friends that the story of this game was amazing, and then a friend recommended me to watch "Not Me".

So I watched this film. The following is the mental journey and summary when watching the movie.

The film is clearly divided into two parts, the former part is science fiction, and the latter part is the action.

At the beginning, the old protagonist Damien made a young man unable to gain a foothold in the industry. What a pungent old man, I like it~ Damien here is actually quite ruthless and narrow-minded.

When it came time to change the body, I had a question: Why didn't I switch to 18-year-old fresh meat... It turns out that there is a reason behind it. (But as a rich man, you see the so-called "laboratory-cultivated body", don't you ask for a younger body?)

Then the body is changed, and the doctor asks for medicine. I thought to myself that this medicine must not be taken, speculating that the doctor is a bad person-for example, the medicine is actually convenient for the doctor to control the protagonist. When the protagonist uses this body to become a rich man, the doctor seizes the protagonist's body and replaces him. (Because I thought of "Master Key")

Later I learned that I misunderstood the doctor, and the doctor really fulfilled his promise... Those medicines are really good for the protagonist... After

the body is changed, the protagonist is also familiar with this body , After having sex everywhere, the next plot has nothing to do with science fiction, it's just a boring jug.

Because the following plot is actually the old-fashioned plot of [the protagonist with amnesia gradually recovers his memory and rushes with the bad guys]! Suddenly all the way...

This kind of plot is incomparable with the wonderful and thought-provoking and terrifying story of "Living Brain Cells"... The

most unacceptable part of me is the same as "Returning to 20 Years Old". There is no feeling of "the old soul is in the new shell" at all. These are two people with different ways of thinking and behavior.
In this regard, Japanese films are more consciously dealing with it. In "The Wonders of the World", there are exchanges of men and women, old rich men and small fresh meats, and the Japanese drama "Father and Daughter in Seven Days". Over or not enough, but at least others are conscious to do "Although it is a new body, but this person's mind and soul are still the same person before."
A Damien who has made achievements in business, of course, is his wisdom and connections. But after changing his body, all he used was Mark's military skills, and he rushed to the end by himself.

The doctor is also quite innocent. The worst place he has done is to hide the source of the body from the client. In addition, the body is a willing business from others, and he also provides thoughtful services to customers. He really did his job as a doctor.

In comparison, the protagonist after the change of body is a big villain. I was hypocritical and insisted on contacting Mark’s wife and daughter (if you don’t smash the whole thing, the other two mothers and daughters will not be in danger), then kill one doctor after another, and finally kill the doctor, ruining the whole Industry chain. When you killed these people, didn't you feel bad about it?

After reading it, I was very disappointed...
Instead, everyone can play "Soma" (SOMA), the story is very good.

  • Damian: You say I'm the reason you got into this business? Now I'm the reason you're out.

Carl: You son of a bitch! Who gives a shit! You're gonna be dead in a year, And then who gives a shit!

Damian: He's wrong. I won't last six months. It's metastasized. Liver and lungs. This morning the oncologist was talking about hospice care.

    Martin: I'm sorry.

Damian: Don't be. What you and Judith went through, losing a child, that's a tragedy. An old man dying... I'm supposed to say, "That's life."
