The sky is high and the ground is far away, the gunshots are harsh

I watched Gus Van Sant's "The Elephant" a few times

I never really understood how good this movie was

until this event in New Zealand

I suddenly remembered that afternoon in high school in the movie

Countless afternoons with my own middle school, high school and college

the sun is high

The light flutters the dust into the eyes

It's like I'm sweating like I'm walking into the classroom with a football

It's like I'm lying on my desk watching your back for a whole class

It seems that after a few hours, I finally found the canteen and smoked the first cigarette of the day.

for a bright life

Memories are always fresh

same as "elephant"

I don't want them all killed by unrelated metal bullets

above

rest in peace

END

Repeated and intersecting narratives from multiple perspectives, such as the natural rhythm of floating clouds, constitute a microscopic everyday school life scene, the purpose is to examine the extraordinary violent energy in this most everyday scene. This is true horror incapable of consuming images of violence worth regurgitating. A rare and reliable Palme d'Or movie.

The plot feels average, but the filming is great
