he can't touch her

Even if the first love is a marshmallow with sweet memory, it cannot dry the double tears of the youthful face.

Some people are much more interesting when you don't know them, and they can be anything you want; but when you do, they're going to have some deficiencies in one way or another.

People like to compare first love to an apple. After biting it, it will oxidize over time, but you can taste the different tastes of other fruits when you taste it sweet or astringent.

Who understands love when you are young? Long live love, but love is not everything.

The faint intersections have left no marks, but they have experienced the most gentle resonance.

Do it all at once, second time tired, third time exhausted. John Carney's overly idealistic and high-scoring new work did not infect me, but instead, I remembered the touching scene of the Coen Brothers' "The Ballad of Drunken Township", which still radiated a little starlight in the cold and gray. In comparison, Carney's "Once", which can make me tremble with just one long shot, is clearly superior. (6.5/10)

Without big ambitions and pursuits, Carney also belongs to the kind of director who can only make "one kind of" movies. The music saves the story again, you can always follow this routine; the script can be polished more delicately, and the rare supporting characters are better than the protagonist, especially the braces manager, the original voice is very praised.

Sing Street quotes

  • [Conor and Eamon put on costumes for a music video]

Eamon: It's me da's show band outfit.

Garry: So it's a gay band? Okay.

Conor: Coming from the one who wants to look like the Village People.

Garry: What's gay about the Village People?

  • Brendan: How d'you know he's her boyfriend anyway?

Conor: It seemed like it. Pulled off in his car, music blaring. He's pretty cool.

Brendan: What was he listening to?

    Conor: Genesis.

Brendan: He will not be a problem.

    Conor: Really?

Brendan: Trust me. No woman can truly love a man who listens to Phil Collins.
