I just saw someone compare Streep with Madonna in "I'm Crazy for Comedy", the former is aging gracefully, the latter is desperately grasping the illusion of youth. In fact, it doesn't matter, because they are all done to the extreme, so they are all beautiful. Being more familiar with Streep, I feel that compared to other actresses, she is really lucky to always find roles that are suitable for her age (she seems to have said so herself). Of course, this luck is based on Aunt Mei's superb acting skills, such as this film.
The plot of "Love is Complicated" is actually very simple. The biggest attraction is the performance of the actors, to be precise, the performance of Streep. The joy and guilt after having sex with her ex-husband, the madness and arrogance after smoking marijuana, especially when she told her friends that she had become a third party excitedly like a young girl, it was really enjoyable to watch. I prefer her to wait silently for her ex-husband to come to have dinner, and quietly watch the expression on the face of her lover's departure. What these need is the precipitation of years.
Streep is such a prolific actress, which proves that she really loves acting. Waiting for her to continue to surprise us and continue to give women confidence. Although, she is actually not replicable.
