Little Eddie got dressed at night and shouted that he was going out to participate in the Olympic Games. Mom took the opportunity to hand over an empty cookie box and asked her to use this box to come back with the gold medal. After Eddie went out, Mom asked Dad to go out to find him. Dad drove around a few times, found him, talked to him, and took him home. Such a simple two scenes are enough for me to cry. On the one hand, I was really jealous of this kind of warmth, and on the other hand, I was moved by the thought of being a parent like this in the future.
The best way to watch this movie is to not try to understand Eddie's real life story first, it is better to watch this movie as a pure drama. The movie ended after Eddie's 90-meter platform jump. People who read Eddie's story for the first time would have thought that in the next four years, Eddie would improve rapidly with a little practice and won the 1992 Winter Olympics championship in one fell swoop. But the reality is cruel. Eddie failed to get a ticket to the Olympic Games for the next three consecutive years, but this is also the most charming part of this story, just like the sentence always mentioned in the movie. "NOT THE TRIUMPH, BUT THE STRUGGLE."
Life is like a cookie box, you never know what surprises you or your children will fill up with next, which is why I still can't bear to throw away those beautiful perfumes I received when I bought perfume. Box.
