The movie has started, and time has passed bit by bit, 20 minutes later, I found that my little prince has not appeared yet, I comfort myself not to worry, the little prince will appear in a little while later. Half an hour passed, 40 minutes passed, I found out that this movie was not filmed from the perspective of the protagonist of the little prince, it was starring a little girl! I began to feel uneasy, a deep anxiety, why, why is it so? As time passed, the story of the little prince came to an end. The little prince left, the pilot repaired the plane and left the desert. But the movie is not over. There is still a long period of it. The little girl goes to find the little prince. No, that's not the little prince, it's Mr. Prince. That Mr. Prince was as busy as an ordinary boring adult, cleaning his chimney. When I saw this scene, my heart was broken, yes, it was broken. In my heart, the little prince will not grow up, let alone grow up to be a boring adult! No, it is not my little prince. So after watching the movie, I told my friends why this is the case. My little prince is not like this. I discussed with people who also loved "The Little Prince" (this book) in other forums and vented my dissatisfaction.
It has been more than a week since I finished watching the movie. I have watched most of the film reviews of this movie. I began to separate from the original and reflect on the movie itself. Maybe it is not as bad as I thought before, but I still believe in him. Not my little prince.
Let me talk about the difference between the original work and the movie. In the original book, after the little prince left his small planet where he could watch the sunset 43 times a day, he visited six planets and encountered kings, vanity lovers, drunks, merchants, lamplighters, and geographers. It seems that only kings, vanity-loving people, and businessmen are shown in the movie. In the original book, when the little prince arrived on earth, he first met the snake and the humble little flower. He climbed the mountain and heard the "answer" from the mountain. When he met the rose garden, he found that his roses were not unique. Then he met Arrived the fox and domesticated him. Later he met a switchman, a pill merchant, and finally he met a pilot. In the movie, the little prince first meets the fox and then sees the rose garden. In the movie, the fox did not describe the little prince’s hair of the same color as the wheat field. In the original book, the fox said: "But if you tame me, my life will be full of joy. I will distinguish a distinctive sound of footsteps. Other footsteps will make me hide in the cave, and Only your footsteps will sound like music, calling me out of the hole. Besides, look! Have you seen the wheat fields over there? I never eat bread, wheat is useless to me. Wheat fields won’t make me use it. I have any associations. How sad it is! But you have golden hair. Once you tame me, it will be so beautiful! That golden wheat will remind me of you. So even that The sound of the wind rolling in the waves of wheat will also make me like to listen..."; "Because of the color of the wheat, I still get benefits." None of these movies show it. Of course, the humble little flowers, switchers, and pill merchants were directly deleted in the movie. Finally, a section of Mr. Prince who grew up was added to the movie. Some people say that this is a little girl’s dream. I agree with this statement. In the dream: the little girl took the fox to find the little prince. They flew a plane to a city where the girl’s father lived, where people who admired vanity became The policeman; the king became an elevator man; the businessman finally bought all the stars, and he stored the stars in a large glass cover to power the building; and the little prince grew up and became a chimney-sweeping prince Sir, he has lost his previous memories, his roses, his domesticated foxes and pilots. At the end of the movie, the little girl helped Mr. Prince find his memory. Together, they let go of the stars and destroyed the merchant's conspiracy. Mr. Prince returned to his planet, and the roses had withered. But the rose was always in his heart, and finally Mr. Prince became the little prince (fortunately, he changed back). The girl woke up and went to the hospital to see the pilot. The little girl’s mother finally stopped forcing her and was willing to accompany her.
Some people say that this movie is actually an afterthought of "The Little Prince", and I deeply agree with it. The whole movie retains many classic sentences in the original work, and uses what happened to the little girl to interpret the sentences to everyone. But because of the limitation of the role, Ye discarded many classic sentences in the original work in the movie. The content of the original work in the film is displayed in an interspersed manner in the first half of the movie, and the story of the little prince appears to be fragmented. In the second half, the director wrote a continuation with his own understanding to show the theme of the movie. Yes, it is the subject of the movie, not the original, just the movie. For this theme, the director will not hesitate to add the characteristics of people who love vanity and misfortune because of their love for vanity; the king has changed from a ruler to a person who serves people (unintelligible); businessmen have become more greedy and lack merit. In order to make the movie more popular, he forced a big villain, that is, the businessman. Aside from the original work, from a film perspective, he did add the villain to the film plot conflict, making the plot more full. However, the most painful thing for me was that he actually attacked the little prince and turned him into Mr. Prince.
Tucao so much, so why do I still give this movie 3 stars? The picture is also very beautiful, I especially like the fragments of the little prince, presented in the form of a paper man. 2 stars...... The background music is very good, 0.5 stars. There is also a 0.5-star gift to the little prince in the original book that has been fragmented but appeared in the barely passing commercial film.
Later, I began to understand that my little prince has always been in my heart. He has never left and will not change. He has always been my little prince, and no one can take it away. So, for me, I just watched an ordinary commercial animation film with American characteristics, nothing more.
