May everyone not lose their habitat

From the perspective of "Anthony" played by Anthony, the film deeply shows the chaotic and disordered world in the eyes of an elderly Alzheimer's patient from the perspective of time, space, and memory cognition. Knowledgeable and able-bodied people try to perceive and understand the different world in the eyes of Alzheimer's patients.

While watching this movie I thought of my grandmother who also suffers from Alzheimer's. The person I used to be closest to gradually began to be different day by day, and she became sensitive and eccentric - she would blame her own children for stealing her gold bars, and say the most vitriolic things to her children; Like Anthony, she seems to be very particular about the time, she doesn't have a watch, but she keeps an alarm clock in her arms forever where she can see it, as if she always knew her life was wound up; He pointed to the corner of the roof and said that there was a strange person there... Until after the movie, the reason for grandma's strange behavior seemed to be traceable. It turned out that her world was running in such a random way. But at that moment, no one could truly understand and share her unease with this illogical world. If my grandmother is still there, I really want to hug her. If time and space and the people I see are no longer real, at least my hug should make her feel the real warmth...

Thanks to Anthony Hopkins for such a moving performance, at least let me understand what kind of existence the tree that had lost its leaves was.

May everyone not lose their habitat.

The branches and the wind and the rain, I don't know what's happening anymore. Do you know what's happening? All this business about the flat, I ……I have nowhere to put my head down anymore. But I konw my watch is on my wrist that I do know. For the journey. If not...I...Don't know if I'll...be ready to...

He stumbled and panicked, constantly encountering ghosts hitting the wall in the fog of time and space, repeatedly confirming and bewildering, and finally lost himself in the chaos. Alzheimer's is attacking him, eating him, so everything he's in is going out of order and out of control. The warm-toned living room, the labyrinth on the cabinet, the more abstract paintings on the wall, the dripping water in the faucet, the "home" that is slowly emptied, the watch that can't be found...all like him Gradually looted memories and lives. "My leaves have fallen off, the wind and rain have wrapped my leaves, and I have nowhere to sleep." All the confusion and helplessness shown in the first-person perspective is exactly what my grandmother and my family are suffering from.

Looking forward to this film was listening to an interview with Anthony on the NPR Fresh Air Podcast. He was sharp-minded and articulate, and he couldn't imagine the old man he played in this film. His brain always seemed to be hidden in the fog. Anthoy ended up crying like a child looking for his mother and saying, "My leaves are about to fall. Those branches, wind, rain." I burst into tears and felt sad from the bottom of my heart.
