The core of this film is the dream. The inspirational main line about dreams never say big, dreamers never say small. Can I say this is the subject that turns me off for a moment. Because my mind has automatically made up the usual routine of such films: family members do not understand, people around me laugh at them, and a group of friends who are always on your side. And sure enough it didn't jump out of this mode. In fact, it can still be seen that the screenwriter is in this aspect. He let a snail have a dream about racing. This wild imagination deserves praise. Next, the magical power of the snail's adventure gave him the opportunity to realize his dream. And it worked, worked, worked...
About its happy ending, the dream finally succeeded. I believe that the screenwriter wants to give the audience courage and strength, and encourage people to stick to their dreams. But you have to first check whether your dreams are reliable or not. The film's theme of dreams is fundamentally a false proposition, because the dream is so unrealistic and unreliable. Maybe you will say that it is an animated film itself, and animals can speak, so don't ask too much. But isn't the point of a movie to be resonant and give some inspiration? In the first half of the film, before Teb has super powers, I believe everyone can see their own shadow from it. I'm not mature enough. I dream every day for my grand and empty ideals, and my life is ordinary and boring. Isn't this kind of plot very grounded and lifelike? But then suddenly left. About superpowers I think we all have fantasies about him. The protagonist in the movie realizes his unreachable dream by relying on the power endowed by the god like a plug-in. Looking back at us in reality, we will compromise with reality for an impossible dream. It will only make us smile when we look back on it when we were young, frivolous and immature.
"Speed Snail" conveys such a belief to us: as long as there is a dream, it can be realized, whether it is unrealistic or not. Isn't this just how bold the legendary people are and how productive the land is? It's like a dream when I was young, no matter how beautiful it is, it's just a dream. I watched a film recently, and he explained the dream like this: People should be satisfied with the dreams around them. To realize the dreams that are far away will only make you tired and sad, and empty enthusiasm will only leave scars. It doesn't mean that we can't have lofty dreams, it's just that according to the actual situation, we have to dream what we can dream, not the dream we want to dream. For example: You were born with a very bad tone and insufficiency, but dreamed of becoming a musician. It's not impossible to achieve, but maybe you can't afford it at all. We sometimes have to admit that we cannot change the things we decide at birth. If we change, are we still ourselves? The snail with super powers makes me resist it. I just wish it was just a normal snail. And each of us, isn't it a "vegetable garden snail"?
In fact, the combination of racing cars and snails is still innovative, but what I hope to see is the growth of this snail on the road to the dream. In the process of growing up, it understands the family's tolerance for itself, and sees that there are a group of like-minded friends who support you.... As for whether the final dream is realized, whether it is successful or not, does it still matter?
Maybe you think my requirements for this film are a little too harsh. Maybe, in fact, aside from everything else, it still has a reason to watch it, and it's full of laughter. It makes people happy and relaxed, and it is indeed separated by a lot of people's strength, so that everyone feels that their dreams are no longer far away, and they are satisfied with their strength and continue to work hard. And for me, it fulfilled the dream that I once had, that beautiful but unfulfilled dream.
In the end, I'm just a "vegetable garden snail". But what does it matter? It’s good to have a dream, and it’s good to work hard. Success is no longer important. As long as I can still see the beautiful life around me, everything else is a cloud.
