"Dead Silence" by Chinese horror film master Wen Ziren.
If I talk about Wen Ziren's movies, I'm afraid I can't finish it for three days and three nights. Wen Ziren was born in Malaysia and grew up in Australia. The university majored in the division of Chinese ethnic groups, understood the oriental exotic culture, and had a profound research on James Wen's directing style.
Seven "Chainsaw" films were filmed, the first film was released in 2004 and set a record at the box office. It refreshed the traditional concept of horror films and was regarded as a classic horror film. If you think "Pen Immortal" is scary, I don't recommend watching it! If you think "Mountain Village Old Corpse" is scary, I don't recommend watching it! If you can accept "Monster Street", you can watch it with some psychological construction. (Of course, the types of terror are different, and everyone may be afraid of different points, so understand by yourself, don't be curious if you are afraid)
The movie "Dead Silence" is about a scary ballad in a small town: watch out for the stare from Mary Shaw, she has no children, only dolls, if you see her, don't scream or she'll tear apart Your mouth rips out your tongue. In this small town, whenever a doll appears, something unfortunate must happen. The newlyweds in the town can't stand the cursed town any longer, so they decide to leave and start a new life. But the wife is killed and the husband decides to find the truth behind the town's story.
Mary Xiao is a poor woman, with only dolls to accompany her. Gradually, in getting along day and night, she regarded the dolls as living children. After the show is punctuated by a child, she kidnaps the child and makes the perfect doll. Later, Mary Shaw was found by the townspeople, her tongue was pulled out, and she was killed. So, she began her revenge road.
The ending of the film is open-ended. Who did the wife see when she screamed? Who locked the basement door? Who is the doll and who is the human? After reading it for the first time, I felt that I was very afraid that something was wrong, and I slowly started to think about it. I can only say that the screenwriter is really good! Many people have different opinions, and it's good to find some time to think about it.
